Morphology and properties of packing foam-materials

Foam polymeric materials are widely applied at packing the goods and products. Their effective application depends on an opportunity of reception of foam-materials with the given properties. The foam-materials have a number of properties, which forecasting is possible after detailed study of their morphology. The sizes of cells, degree of their isolation and other parameters of cellular plastic and influence on their mechanical and heats - physical properties are in detail considered density. The given data allow to make the forecast properties of the chosen cellular plastic with the purpose of effective application in packing. 

Stearinic white Superconcentrate

The packing from polymeric materials has more attractive kind, if it is pigmented. The application of superconcentrates for colouring polymers is most effective. The advantages and lacks of existing compositions of superconcentrates, technologies of their manufacturing are considered.

Investigated the formula of a superconcentrate, in which as binding have utillized stearic acid, and as a pigment - dioxide of titanium and chalk. The formula of a concentrate optimized on an index of brightness of samples of polystyrene (PS), into which entered a superconcentrate. Have defined influence of colouring of PS by a superc oncentrate on an index of a melt, mechanical hardness and thermostability of samples of PS.

The equipment and technological lines for mechanical treatment figurate labels

Alongside with rectangular labels the wide application in an industry was found also by figurate labels. The technological process of manufacture of such labels has a series of peculiarity. For manufacture of figurate labels are necessary special cutt press. In this article the authors present peculiarity of manufacture of figurate labels and requirements, which are advanced to technological to the equipment, and also to arrangement them in a line.

Identification of polyvinylchloride packing materials

The sanitary - chemical research of container and packaging from polyvinylchloride for articles of food is conducted. Is established, that at observance a technological mode of effecting the packaging from a pv-films is not toxic, is favourable influences gustatory qualities and preservation of the packaged articles of food.

Choice of the optimal form of container

The problems of mesh generation for several typical constructions that are used in packing production are considered. Algorithm for automated hexahedral mesh generation task solving is proposed. Several test and applied tasks were considered. The algorithm is remarkable for significant decrease of computational burden and allows to set different increments at X, Y, Z directions for finite elements generation and to thin out/thicken mesh in the local areas.

Design of process of melting in single-screw extruder

The mechanism of melting in the process of extrusion is considered, the mathematical model of process of melting is developed and basic dependences for determination of the temperature field in the channel of worm are resulted. A method and algorithm of calculation is created, numeral research of process of extrusion is conducted and the results of theoretical research of extrusion are resulted in single-screw extruder taking into account deformation of hard material in the channel of extruder. The results can be recommended for the engineering calculations of extrusion equipment for processing of polymers and materials on their basis. 

Threaded stops constructions of metal heads for glass containers

The rational construction layouts development of the plugging means for glass containers with staged threads requires the construction stops research and the factors definition preventing its deformation. Here is given, in the article, the detailed construction research of “twist-off” type threaded heads. It was established, that the main threaded stops construction parameter affecting its hardness is the stop’s length.

Control systems of automatic packing machines

The heightening of the requirements has reduced in the packing process to a heightening of complexity of constructions of packing machines. In them the quantity of functional mechanisms has increased. In this connection the large meaning has control systems. In this article you can read about the structure of control systems of packing machines, the classification of control systems by the form of control algorithm, by the control unit. The results of comparison of characteristics of control systems of different types are reduced. 

Devices of feeding of a rolled material in the packing equipment.

The wide application of rolled packing materials enables the producers of the packing equipment to make to intensive process of manufacturing of consumer packing and to create technical complexes, in which alongside with manufacturing of the basic operations of packing of production the manufacturing of packing is carried out also. The significant part of the proceedings is devoted to questions of designing and definition of rational parameters of devices of formation of elements of packing. Alongside with it the features of designing of devices of feeding of a rolled packing material have not found display. In given article the attempt of the authors is given to classify and to carry out synthesis of characteristic designs of working bodies of devices of feeding of rolled materials in a packing machine. The definitions of rational parameters of these mechanisms are given.
