The metal packing in the form of tins, bladders, tubes and aluminum foil has wide using because of unique properties of tin and aluminum. In spite of quite great volume, such packing has a great energy saving because it is available for reusing as a row material. There is given, in the article the metal packing types data, its production state in Ukraine and its properties estimation. As well as there is introduced data on the metal packing types, their general using and in Ukraine particularly. The information on economic and ecological factors of tin and aluminum packing using is adduced also. The development tendentious of packing types, technologies and equipment for its production, the forecast on the metal packing development in Ukraine for the nearest perspective were made too.

Computer designing of automatic packaging lines
There is given in the article, as an example, the arrangement of automatic lines lay-out diagrams for bear prepackaging with 60 thousands bottles/h. The task of automatic line designing is quite complicated, because it is consist from a many number of packaging machines, transport means and load flows. For the task solution a software products range, which have creating functions of solid-state models – objects. The work result is the video file obtaining with approximately 1 thousand shots, that sowing the assembling and the automatic line processing principle for bear prepackaging in glass bottles.
Profiling of a slotting tool cutting edge
Here is proposed, in the article the method of the knife cutting profile exchanging on the equiangular spiral of the simpler second round. Such tool’s construction makes its production procedure simpler and provides the non-expendable sharpening possibility of the knife cutting edge because of its bluntness.
Such tool using makes wide possibilities to the profile cutting mean effective realization in different technological processes of the cardboard reamer bit packing production.
Physical and technological effects of the vacuum packing

The European legislation on packaging (Directive amend)
The directive of EU 94/62 was accepted in December, 1994. The standards on regeneration and recycling of the used packaging by the states - terms of EU are fulfilled in June, 2001. The paper provides 6 Directives periodic revising of norms and tasks. By a special Commission are developed and the respective alterations to different papers of the Directive are brought in. In a paper the corrections to the Directive, brought in Commission and favoured by Advice of the states - terms EU are briefly explained.
